Piggybacking on this, I have the cabling side down. Just to clarify for my on mind. With this set up using an QC amp block can you disable the poweramp sim or are we potentially doing..
[QC amp block with e.g. 6L6 power amp] → Effect Return → [physical 6L6 poweramp] → Speaker.

there is no way to disable to poweramp modeling in QC amp models. You’re best bet for that would be a capture of just a preamp if you want to avoid that.

Wanted to check that Rabea’s video was power amp sim into a real power amp where applicable. Sounds alright and wanted to be sure how it worked to inform possible future purchase.
Yeah, that’s what he’s doing. It works fine for monitoring live. I just don’t really recommend it for recording unless you have a very clean power amp. It does add a sorta strange quality to the sound
