When everything is plugged in, its a small hiss (that still comes up in recordings and want to eliminate it). When its just the QC plugged in, it’s a very loud buzz, as shown in the video.
Also I usually run High Gain amps on the QC.
I dont know what the source of the noise. Can you guys help me figure it out? Video down below
Your QC grounds thru the Output jacks, especially the XLRs. The power supply is fine, it’s just not grounded. If you don’t have the QC connected to anything else, it’s not grounded and that’s the hum you’re hearing. If you can connect the XLR output to something/anything grounded, it should stop the hum/buzz. A different power supply won’t do it because it’s not designed to ground thru the PSU.
