Preset folders contextual menus not working?

When I am in the QC file manager, I see a contextual menu (3 dots) alongside the name of each folder I have containing presets.

Should I be able to use tap on the 3 dots to be able to do things like ‘Rename’ the folder etc? And should I be able to drag and drop folders to re-order them? For some reason the only thing I can do is drag the folder to the top right to delete, other than that none of the contextual menu functions seem to be working…:face_with_monocle:

huh, same here. Seems like a bug- that’s the only one I’ve encountered so far. Probably should report to Support.

It could be a bug of some sort but the hamburger (3 dot menu) gives me the functions for copy, paste, edit and delete (which I verified all work for me) so I am unable to duplicate. You might want to try backing up, factory reset and restore to see if that resolves the issue otherwise send an email to support@neuraldsp.com to see if they can determine the issue.

Also, I assume you are on the most current firmware?

I’ve emailed support, thanks, and yes, running latest firmware. Not sure I want to do a factory reset just yet, I’ll save that as a last resort…

I’ve rebooted and the contextual menu is now working…:face_with_monocle: Thanks for the advice

Thanks for the update and glad it’s working now!

I wonder if it is some kind of a memory leak or caused by some other action. How long was your QC on before this happened? Let us know if it crops up again. Would have assumed it was a one-off if @xush hadn’t reported it as well.

I seem to have the same problem, after a Re-Boot all is well, but if I have my QC on for some time, and then this happens. 3 dots dont work. I made this video. This is a bug that needs to be fixed. The only help is a reboot

My unit is also fixed for the moment with a reboot, but it comes back the next day and sometimes the same day. And only a reboot will let me edit, delete, via the 3 dots. My Captures, and Presets is affected

Ok, help! <@818546963204407387> Plz try this. I can not use the 3 dots in the UI menu after chainging the IR file I have in this preset to another IR file. So can some of you guys help me sqash this BUG so I can let Support know about how to repate this?? Step 1: Load and save this preset, then re-boot the QC. Step 2: Then go to the preset and change the IR file to another one…and right after this, press the name of the preset, then try pressing the 3 dots on the right of the preset name in the menu. On my QC this will not let me press the 3 dots. Am I on to something ?

Here is my preset

Here is a video I made so you can see in real time

Support responded to me today saying it seems to be related to a known issue and the Dev team is already working on it, hotfix to come ASAP.

I noticed the same sort of issue with the 3 dots (ellipsis) in the listing of user presets. When I am in a bank of presets, in the preset list to the right, each preset has an ellipsis to the right. I was trying to move, re-name, and delete presets. These dots are not selectable on my QC. They do nothing - I can’t select them no matter how I try. In fact, the screen at times seems very sluggish when trying to make selections. It is prone to making errors. By that I mean that I will try to select or move something and nothing will happen. For instance, I tried several times to drag a preset to a new location in the bank, and it appeared that nothing happened, and then a moment later, there were multiple unintended copies. It was like the screen was not updating or something.

That makes it pretty challenging to do simple file maintenance tasks. I hope it’s a firmware bug & something that can be rectified. If not I may have a defective touch screen.
