Well, it’s still on. Maye less noticeable. It even pop’s up during playback on Reaper. No tracks armed or anything. Just plain playback.
I even set the process priority of the NDSP ASIO driver to real time so it won’t get interrupted by other OS tasks and processes.
I tend to think that it happens when the signal get’s saturated. But I’m always peaking below -3dB.
I’ve tried different buffer size samples, ranging from 64 to 1024 and eventually it will pop up.
Just FYI I’m running a laptop with an i5-10300H with 16Gb 3200MHZ on an NVME 3.0.
Strange that my reliable HX Stomp can play way more Reaper tracks without audio issues having an older hardware, which is less capable on DSP.
