Plugin import to it's own patch vs coping to another patch sounds different

Hello friends - I have the Nolly plugin and am giving it a go on the QC. It is fantastic. So fantastic in fact that I’d like to take Nollys preset “The Best Clean” and preset “All Metal Rhythm” and make them into 1 patch using scenes to swap between clean and dirty.

I have imported them into their own patches, 11A and 11B and they sound great. Now trying to combine them - I have copied only the active blocks in the Metal Rhythm and pasted them 1 by 1 into the Clean patch. I have also deleted the non-active blocks in the Clean patch. I am left with only the active blocks for both. I’ve divided them into Scene A and Scene B. The parameters of each item is the same as when in the preset alone by itself.

The metal channel sounds considerably thinner. Back to back there is quite a difference between the plugin sound and my newly copied and pasted version.

I can’t figure out why this is - Is there any plugin vererans out there who might know some things to look at to get it sounding the same? I’d rather not click between presets as the scenes are quicker.

I made a preset with these two tones in it, setup with scenes so you can switch between the two. Anything not active in the original plugin presets was removed. I did a null test for both tones against the computer plugin presets and the Quad Cortex plugin presets. Both strongly phased cancelled, so the custom preset is working as intended. Here’s a link to it.

I’d have to see your preset to figure out what the issue is. Can you upload it to the cloud and send me the link?

yep, really need to see your preset to figure out what’s causing the issue.
