Plugin advice needed

I’m a bluesrock player. Nearly all my presets are created using the Lonestar and Friedman models. Which plugin would give a similar but better amp tone? I like it when an amp is very responsive and snappy. Before the QC i would use an Ceriatone OTS (Dumble clone) and a Ceriatone King kong (Marshall tone with extra gain stage). The Friedman is a good replacement for the King Kong, but for OTS I’m still looking for a model that does the same trick. A lot of models feel too saturated, I’m missing the ‘snappiness’ of the OTS.

If there’s a plugin that is better than the friedman I would also be interested.I already own the Tone King, but thats not on the QC available.

I think you might like Cory Wong archetype for the cleans edge of breakup. “The amp snob” amp I heard was based on a mix between a dumble and a fender twin. I think that’s the only d style amp in plugins right now.

+1 for “The Amp Snob” in Archetype Cory Wong.

The crunch channel in Archetype Plini might also be good for that playing style. Excels at edge-of-breakup sounds.

have you experimented with the ‘recently’ updated US DLX 64 Vintage in Vibrato Mode? That’s my go-to for juicy snap these days.

I did, but I preferred the 65 over the 64. I’ll revisit it again.
