The form factor and ease of editing is what made me keep the QC around even with all my bitching, but I also find myself 9 times out of 10 using a 3rd party user capture and IR rather than the stock stuff. NDSP is capable of making great sounding stuff, the plugins are proof positive, but I always felt the stock stuff, tonally, was a slight notch below the plugins. It’s not awful to the degree of something like an old school Line6 Pod, but it’s noticeable enough to where there’s something to be desired.
Use the Tremoverb. It’s the better Recto anyway. Essentially a Rev G 2-channel Recto.
