Hi guys, new to Nano Cortex and the whole Neural ecosystem. So far, I’ve been playing with the Nano for a couple of days and I’m very satisfied with how it sounds. I only find the edge-of-breakup captures to be a bit fizzy and ice picky, do you have any advice in this regard?
Apart from this, my main question is how can I play over backing tracks with the Nano Cortex without having to hook it to a computer. Is there a way to play over a backing track played from my iPhone or iPad?
Cheers
Giorgio
Try a EQ (low/high cut). A high cut around 8k seems to work well for me to take the harsh high end.
My iPad works. It has a usb c port though. If your phone or iPad has lightning port I think you need the USB c camera adapter
Thanks, could you explain to me step-by-step how you do this (the backing track thing)? I have connected my iPad to the mini but when I play a backing track from YouTube I hear it from the iPad loudspeaker, not the Mini Cortex headphones.
So mine does it automatically… but then you can’t adjust the volume of Spotify.
If you use Logic Pro for iPad you can open up a settings page and choose which you want the audio to go to (Nano or iPad speakers). But I don’t really want to spring for that so I’m just gonna use my mixer…
A bit of a bummer
