Overlord Synth level setting

Hey, old time user, new poster.

I was trying to put a Mono Synth / Overlord Synth in a bass preset, not using any amps on this preset for I am plugin in front of an amp.

I am posting for I must be doing something wrong. The difference in levels is absolutely insane in the default settings, and I am only getting a sound that close to unit gain at output @ -12, and oscillators @ -24.

Using a passive bass, on Hartke LH500 with 2 1x12. If any bassists can illuminate on this topic.. I’d appreciate it. Any insights on what I can be doing wrong?

Probably nothing wrong. Have you “optimized” the input gain?

I use captures for my amps and usually need -16db input.

Listen with your ears, not your eyes.
