I am attempting to capture both of my AER acoustic amps. Both have a great DI out and therefore I want to capture that.
First question, after setting the levels, can I turn the volume down on the speaker? I am afraid the capture tones are going to blow the speakers…
Two, The clipping light is solid red on the input on my AER when doing the capture is that normal? I wouldn’t think so. When setting the levels with my acoustic guitar nothing is clipping.
I have been going through the forum and I cannot find an answer.

I can only guess, if that helps.
I don’t think the AER amp should clip during the capture process. You could try to reduce the input gain on the amp.
And I guess you can reduce the master volume on the amp, assuming the master does not affect the DI signal.
