Noticed at once Doug have C. G. Jung’s “The Black Books” on his shelf.

It’s so nice to see the faces of the people that make all of this possible. I feel empathy for all the struggles and hard work the Neural people are doing!

I was a bit upset by the limitations and quirkiness of the Quad Cortex in some domains and also the pace of the new updates in 2024, but since the last update I feel Neural is going in the right direction. This was a great update with a lot of future proof new possibilities! And I love how the new videos foster the sense of a company listening to the needs of the community!

I’m saying this, because in the course of 2025 a lot of us felt like Neural has given up on the Quad Cortex and is working on the next best thing - I don’t feel that way anymore since the last update. It has given me a lot of hope for 2026!

I’m really hoping for an implementation of the most wished for features in this thread.

My personal Quad Cortex dream would be to have the possibility to map different FX parameters to the knobs and the possibility to adjust them live, to have knobs that trigger one effect when you press them once and another when you press them twice quickly, a tuner that can mute the four inputs (not just two), a metronome that can go up to 500 and that I can adjust for quick 7/8, 9/8 and 11/8 and a new gig view where I can put a scene or a pedal next to each other like I desire (not only in rows).

I’m hoping for new SOONs

What struck me about this walkthrough was the size of the team. I hope it puts into perspective how legitimately lucky we are to get what we’ve gotten in terms of features, implementations, and updates given the size of this company. From a coding perspective alone, the pipeline and backlog must be absolutely daunting — to churn out what they have is actually pretty remarkable
