Need some guidance picking out a few plugins that will work for my kind of play

Hello. Hopefully I’m posting this in the right place. I’m new to Neural DSP and I’m looking to get some plugins. I’m sure I’ll get more as I go, but up front I’m looking for the ones that cover these kind of bands:

Def Leopard
Van Halen
AC/DC
Lead Zeppelin
KISS

You know that classic rock era. I have been Messi g with the Tim He son plugin, which has sim 80’s sounds. Also a lot of other sounds I am not sure what to do with, but I think it’s cool. Fun to play with.

Looking at these so far. But if I could prioritize it would help.

Archetype Petrucci

Thanks in advance. I’m prob going to get two or three plugins soon. Tim Henson may be on the list. Unsure what I need to cover the other songs.

Have tried the free trials?
Mesa Boogie has great out of the box tones.

thanks buddy! I am currently trying the Tim Menson plugin, also the Gojira plugin… both are pretty cool… I get confused because some I have listened to sound the same and also different at the same time :slight_smile:

I found some videos online where folks are making presets for Gojira to match EVH and or VanHalen songs. So, I am def going to buy that one. The Tim Henson plugin is just different. I like it. I want to use it for cleaner sounds for now… but I may need to find presets or tweak on the plugin, I think. My problem is… each plugin I listen to, I just want it… but I can’t buy them all at once :wink: so I am thinking Tim Henson and Gojira to start.
