Multiband Compressor

Hey SpinalTap, unless I’m misunderstanding your statement, any block’s settings can be saved as a default for that particular device (specific amp’, pedal, etc) from the drop-down settings menu in a block’s parameters. You would have to copy each of your two comp blocks separately but it’s faster than having to dial in parameters everywhere you want to use that particular comp.

The problem came as I was developing the settings I wanted to use. I’d make some changes, but then copying those changes to several presets was awkward. That was long before cortex control was out though. Probably much easier now.

I’ve also given up for now, as there’s a Cali 76 SE in Rabea’s plugin, so I’ll likely just start using that S O O N.

I agree, it’s one of the most powerful ways to shape tone dependant on eq spikes to trigger it, so anyone who has a sound which, at certain attack or volume level, is predominant in one eq area, a multiband compressor is the perfect way to smooth the output without affecting the the original tone.

Multi-Band compression (and dynamic eq) is the one thing I miss most. Please Neural :folded_hands:
