Missing Factory Pitch Effects & UI Mismatch (CorOS 4.0.0)

​I am reporting a significant firmware issue on my Quad Cortex following an update to CorOS 4.0.0. Despite performing a full Factory Reset, my unit is missing several core factory effects, and existing effects are displaying incorrect parameters.

​1. Missing Effects:

The following effects are completely absent from the Virtual Devices > Pitch category:

​Analog Octave

​Digital Octave

​Intelligent Pitch

​Drop

​Detune

​Doubler

Parameter/UI Mismatch:

The Poly Octaver is listed in the menu, but when loaded, it displays the controls for the “Analog Octave” (Dry, Oct, Sub) instead of the standard 5-knob Polyphonic layout (Dry, Sub, Oct -1, Up +1, Shine). There is no “Page 2” available to access the UP (+1) parameter.

Troubleshooting Performed:

​Confirmed both Quad Cortex and Cortex Control are on v4.0.0.

​Performed a full Factory Reset via the Device Options menu.

​I attempted to search for missing effects; they do not appear in the search results.

where are you getting those from? They are not current devices, never have been (other than the Doubler, it’s in Utilities). Maybe you were looking at a very old pre-release list?
