MIDI clock sync issue

Hi, I’m experiencing a strange MIDI clock sync issue with the Nano Cortex.

My setup is:

  • Morningstar MC6 Pro → USB Host
  • Nano Cortex connected via USB MIDI
  • MIDI Clock enabled from the MC6 Pro
  • Delay block set to Sync ON

The Nano Cortex correctly receives the incoming MIDI clock:

  • BPM updates correctly on the Nano Cortex/app
  • Different BPMs per bank on the MC6 Pro are reflected correctly

However, when changing banks/presets from the MC6 Pro, the Nano Cortex correctly updates the BPM display, but the synced delay sound initially feels out of sync.

For example:

  • I change to another bank on the MC6 Pro with a different BPM
  • The Nano Cortex immediately displays the correct BPM
  • But the synced delay sound still feels out of sync at first

What’s interesting is:

  • If I manually tap tempo a few times on the MC6 Pro after changing banks, the delay suddenly becomes correctly synced again

Additional info:

  • MIDI Start messages are already being sent on bank change
  • Delay Sync is enabled
  • This happens over USB MIDI
  • The issue occurs regardless of whether Tap Tempo is set to Global or Preset mode on the Nano Cortex

Has anyone experienced something similar with MIDI clock sync on the Nano Cortex?

I think that i have the same issue. In my chain Idoru P1 (backing track player) generates the midi clock and PC changes, then midi signal goes to Voicelive 2 (vocal multifx) and through the midi through output it goes to Nano. There are some kind of BPM drift while Nano reseive the patch change commands and there are slight delay out of sync for a couple of seconds.
