Lambchopper678’s captures are awesome. The man has THEE ear for thrash.
I use his MXR eq capture on 90% of my presets.
Oh, I haven’t tried that pedal capture. Yet. Before the amp block right?

Yes. That’s where I put it.
Sometimes before a boost pedal, too. It also could work between the amp and cab.
Experiment. Try it everywhere. Different results in different locations.

This gets asked a lot so, For the Mesa Boogie MK IIC plugin, here are some presets - straight from the notes from Rasmussen. As others mentioned lambchopper has amazing presets as well. But these generically work well on headphones and Frfrs:
I also like the MES 212 57 + 121 IRs on these - from the dollar pack, but I feel like they get pretty close without much hassle - I am not good at mic’ing cabs up.
