I use Mainstage 3 for playing live because coming from Logic Pro, the interface just makes it easier for me. The thing is that I’ve been playing with both Mesa Boogie and Morgan Amps suites inside Mainstage for about a year, with no issue.
But today I’ve opened a Mainstage project where I had around 7 channels in total with Morgan Amps plugin turned on (in some cases as the only plugin in chain) and they were all set on the Default setting that pops up when you first open the plugin.
This has happened with Mesa Boogie too, as I checked with some other projects where I use both plugins.
Note: most of the presets I used on this projects were saved, but it is really annoying to open a project and having to put the presets.
I can’t imagine how stressful it could be if this happened/happens on one of my larger projects (I’m used to have 2-3 tracks for each song of the setlist, having some projects with more than 20 songs…)
Please, if you know how to fix or avoid this bug, let me know! I got a gig a couple of weeks from today
