Bumping this. Having to buy a separate MIDI device to split/merge stuff to get around this is really annoying.

In my studio setup I’d like to route my DAW tempo through the QC to devices in my FX-Loop.

Bumping this one. Having to choose to either send new MIDI messages or relay existing ones is such a disappointment this many years in.
Can you get around this by chaining the midi in/out connections on other pedals so that the QC is last?
No, it can pass MIDI messages thru, just can’t also send its own then. I have never seen a device handle ‘MIDI thru’ this way. If it was last there would just be no reason so send additional messages downstream. The work around is buying more external gear and chipping away at any justification to have a large “fully featured” modeler.
I would like them to fully.implememt midi. Hopefully the next update.
Since Midi merge requires a hardware change, Midi input features is an easier solution. With incoming CC number mapping and global CC on/off of factory features, customers could move switches to controllers that are not limited in this way.
