Before I buy a Quad Cortex I would like to know if it is possible to model pedals like an envelope filter or auto wah. So effects that sound different depending on the input level and effects that produce a sound that changes over time. Is it possible to model such effects?
to model them, yes- there are filters on the QC as models already.
However, you can’t capture those types of fx. No time- or pitch-based effects can be captured into the QC. Capturing only works for tonal-based fx, not anything that changes over time.
