Is it possible to change how presets switch? Reverse up and down

To me it’s not logical at all. I see a list of presets and when I want to choose some preset that is lower in the list I need to press up. Is there a way to change that?

No but this was discussed several times before and this is added as a request to the feature list. If it will ever be implemented nobody knows.

It’s a gripe among many of us. Vote here:

It irritates me so much they won’t fucking fix this (user configuration). It is the ultimate display of NDSP’s arrogance.

Done! Please people vote for the feature also.

Since these things are essentially mini pc’s… It reads like a bunch of files in a folder type of thing… When you see the list in a folder the 1st file at top you see as no:1 and as you go down the list your actually counting up which feels normal on a pc… But at 1st it doesn’t seem normal on a modeller… But after 5mins I got used to it

But on a pc when some file is highlighted and you need to scroll down you press down key on your keyboard, not up. I am new to Quad Cortex, so I probably need some time to adjust to its logic.

I also got used to it, but it would more intuitive to me if the behavior was reversed.

I mean, come on… this seems perfectly doable with a global setting.

It does but come on, is it really that big of a deal

Yes, it is a big deal. It complete fucks up my creative process.

Really  that’s unfortunate

It is surprising they haven’t added a simple feature like this. It’s one of many small things that Neural has basically overlooked. They need the feedback from actual users.

Just like them having the two foot switches on the right of the unit that can’t be adjusted to control a scene or stomp at all haha. Dedicating those to just the tuner/tap/modes is so crazy

I’ve been using my QC tonight and I don’t think anything is wrong with the way you scroll through presets or banks… It seems 100% normal

That’s great for you, but for a lot of us it is 100% backwards. The issue is not which orientation you prefer, it is about NDSP making it a most basic QOL user configuration after over 2 years of people requesting it.

It is great for me and very happy with it the way it is… And have several friends that think it’s fine the way it is.

Last warning to remain civil with each other and to keep posts on topic.

Configuration for this would be good since for me buttons should be inverted
