Hi guys,
I’ve got a somewhat unique yet highly useful feature request I’d like to make. I’d like the ability to switch inputs for any preset so that I can equalize the levels for my guitars across all inputs and switch on the fly if necessary. Here’s a simplistic use case….
Guitar A has a SUPER hot output and is connected to input 1
Guitar B has a softer output and is connected to input 2
If I’m playing a gig with guitar B and break a string, I’d like the ability to switch to Input 1 (Both inputs are set to a level that’s optimized for the signal chain on whatever preset). My use case is that I use stereo guitars that process the L and R channels separately (Think Electric Pickups on one output and Piezo on the other for that sort of acoustic sound). This would be set up with two signal chains on the preset set to inputs 1 & 2 respectively. Meanwhile, my backup stereo guitar is plugged in to inputs 3 & 4.
It would be nice to have a single switch or feature that allows me to tab through available inputs on any preset at any time. This could also be useful for doing an A/B test with multiple guitars to check out how a particular preset build will react to different guitars.
I’m sure there’s some nuance there, and one would need to consider that there are only so many buttons on the device itself. That being said, I’d be happy if this was a feature that was only accessible via a midi controller. That would be far easier and cheaper to integrate into my rig than a mixer with DI boxes and preamps or an amp switcher.
Long winded request. It’s a wish list item. But a cool one.
Thanks for listening. Keep up the great work ![]()
