Hi guys,

I bought a Quad cortex. currently i will connect it to a single yamaha HS-7 (for home use exclusively) …will it hinder the sound quality ?

Yes obviously. Use the IR loader block after an amp or amp capture DI.

I have HS7s and it works fine although you should consider getting an FRFR, to me it goes some way to being similar to using a normal cab.
