I have a Fender Strat with a Hot Rail bridge PU and I’m losing a load of sustain on the higher register notes. It’s really noticeable when I’m using the tuner as the High E cuts out like there’s no signal.
If I turn off the input gate it definitely helps but still feels worse than if I go straight into an amp.
What corOS are you on?
I kinda had the feeling that i have the same issue since the last corOS update somehow. Interesting that someone mention it.
(Both on my passive Humbucker Les Paul and on my Ibanez loaded with active fishman)
I’m mostly using Strats these days, and you definitely have to adjust the input gate sensibility to not have issues with notes cutting too early. IME setting it around 10% does the trick.
I’m on the very latest corOS. Excuse my ignorance but what’s IME? The Input Gate?
“In my experience” = IME
Input gate, long press on your input on the signal grid and enable your gate etc.

I’ll try and record an example of what I’m seeing.
