Fender "custom shop" Tone master Capture

Title: Looking for a Fender Custom Shop Tone Master V2 Capture

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a V2 Capture of the Fender Custom Shop Tone Master.

I’ve found a few V1 Captures on Cortex Cloud, but many of them don’t include the original amp settings or enough information to recreate the intended sound, so it’s been a bit difficult to work with them.

If anyone has made a V2 Capture, knows where one is available, or is willing to share or sell one, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

For a second I thought you were wanting a capture of an FRFR speaker till I realized that this was a tube amp they made a while back!

found a few listings of it on reverb and guitar center. I was curious what things you like about this amp compared to more popular fenders (deluxe, bassman). Which other fender model do you think is closest in sound?

I’ve been wanting to find an old bassman head (or hoping fender makes a reissue in a head format) for a while.

The main reason I’m interested in this amp is because SUGIZO, one of my favorite guitarists, used one around the year 2000. I really love the sound he got from it.

To be fair, his tone also included a VHT 2150 power amp, so the amp alone isn’t the whole story.

From everything I’ve heard, the Tone Master has a unique high-gain character with a slightly raw, grainy texture. It also seems to keep the attack and thickness even when using single-coil pickups, which is something I really like.

Unfortunately, I’ve never had the chance to play one in person.

As for similar Fender amps, I’d say the Pro Sonic, Super-Sonic, and maybe the Bassbreaker seem to be in the same ballpark.

SUGIZO also used a Pro Sonic at one point. The Super-Sonic is often considered to have inherited some of that design philosophy, but from what I’ve read—and from trying the 22W and 60W versions myself—they didn’t have the same clarity or cut that I’m looking for. I’ve heard the 100W version is better in that regard, but I’ve never had the opportunity to try one.

The Bassbreaker is another one I’m curious about, but I haven’t played one yet and don’t hear people talk about it very often, so I’m not sure how close it really is.

I didn’t see any V2 TM captures but do see some super sonic 22 V2 captures all created and shared by the same creator “Ruud”. There is also a SS 22 V2 power amp capture created by “NoMoreNeverAgain”
