Maybe some of you already tried this out but I only just learned of this undocumented feature yesterday.
You can connect a standard latching footswitch to the EXP port using a TS cable and it will be recognized and function properly.
I find it kind of funny this isn’t listed in the manual as possible. I can now use a footswitch to toggle any combination of the fx banks between presets, for example, and their setting persistent across switching presets.
For example I set the foot switch to toggle post fx bank 2 which I always use for delay. Now all my presets carry this setting and I can treat delay like a standalone stomp box with the external latching footswitch maintaining the correct state of the block (hope this makes sense).
