There is a certain way that knobs are used. We are used to it and it is easy that way.
If use a Carbon Copy or Strymon Brig, it does not matter. User Interface works as intended.
Just like a car steering wheel or brakes.
Some of the NC effects are really hard to dial in.
- Analog Delay. It is very hard to adjust a minimal slapback. Programmers should check out popular delay knob settings for this. Delay time is tap based and ms adjustment is not possible. Why??
At least, I should be able to dial Delay Time @ 11 O’clock and Feedback @ 3 O’clock for similar settings. It is hard to turn digital knobs and if you squeeze the minimal setting into an impossible range it is not a good UI decision.
Same thing goes for reverb settings as well. Some of the params are really hard to adjust.
If you want to keep it as it is, at least give us the option to increase range for fine tuning after keeping your finger on the knob for more than 1 second. Just like iPhone iMovie trim. Now, if you hold your finger on the knob it opens a manual entry but this could be changed to a double click.
