Can somebody walk me through the steps of setting up a patch where, using an expression pedal, i can fade from a clean signal to an over driven signal?
Is there something easy I’m missing? Or is there technique specific to the quad cortex that will help me in designing my own patches?
I do it with my amps using an express pedal. You could do the same with stomps. Assign the gain and volume of the stomp to the same express pedal. Set the min and max values to your liking with the Gain set with a low min with heel down and higher max (how much gain you want) with toe down and the vol just the opposite with the heel down min usually at 100% and then depending on the device with toe down the min turned down to offset the gain increase. They won’t be exactly the same and amps are different I image stomps will be too.
It’s a great way to have a big range on gain on your amp and you can go from crystal clean through full gain if you want.
