Doubler: Delay and Attack Randomization

The doubler is great, likely one of the easiest and most important ways to make the presets sound that much better. That is why the functionality of simply copying the sound 1-to-1 by a few milliseconds leaves something to be desired.
It could take the sound to another level if it came with knobs to dial in a randomization on the delay and the attack to make it sound more like a realistic double-tracked guitar.

I also read this request mirrored in some YouTube comments, and because I didn’t find a topic on it yet, I thought I’d be the one to create it.

This would be my most direly requested feature next to having a looper with multiple tracks, which I already voted on.

Love the QC and NDSP in general.
Let me know what you think

it already does that;
the official description: detect transient information, which is then used to randomise the delay time and some eq/filters.

If you let a note ring out you can hear the random shifts as the note trails off. I’ve read several complaints about the ‘weird artifacts’ created by the Doubler- but it’s just the way it randomizes attack/delay/eq

oh that’s great, I had no idea! would be nice to be able to control that a bit, but if it can already do that much it’s no longer a big priority for me!
