Does Petrucci have any relationship with NDSP still?

It seems like it existed long enough to get his name on a plugin and then he bounced. I never see anything from him promoting the plugin, using it, demoing it, talking about it - anything. There’s only a handful of presets made by him in the plugin, and they’re mostly very obscure parts of songs. Someone with his catalog and skills should have several dozen really good and usable artist-made presets in his plugin, I would think.

I’m not really complaining, since I love the plugin, I’m just curious why we never see Petrucci doing anything remotely associated with NDSP, whereas you see Rabea and some of the others constantly talking about, using, or promoting the NDSP stuff.

Just curious.

Likewise with Tom Morello and Cory Wong? One-time artist collaboration and endorsement. I don’t think it’s a big deal.

John Petrucci has had much closer and longer-standing relationships with Ernie Ball and Mesa Boogie.

Fair point. Makes sense. It’s a great plugin, so I ain’t complaining
