Cannot begin to express how much this plugin is just brilliant but the fact that I cannot use it now on my QC drives me insane ……
PLEASE can someone make this a priority to convert to X - I realize it requires time BUT dudes come on! surely CORY WONG can’t take priority over TONE KING. Honestly the quality of this plugin for what it is, is phenomenally powerful addition to QC . To me it makes no sense that it’s not seeing as a fundamental to the QC operational tools ….
PLEASE CAN SOMEONE GET THIS PLUGIN ADDED ASAP !!!

No word yet on when Tone King X is coming (or Granophyre or Mark IIC+, my personal favorites). All we know is that Archetype: Petrucci is the next plug-in to get updated to an X version.
Since you already appear to own both the Tone King plugin and a QC, have you considered simply capturing the plugin tone you’re looking to use until compatibility rolls out to the QC? It may not be ideal in terms of tweaking the amp like with models but if you have some favorite amp settings in the plugin, you could capture them on the QC until such time as the models are available.
I’m waiting for the tone king one too. I actually had the amp. For that amp idk why I prefer the plug in. I think I may get nollys I’m not sure when they can be imported.
So if the X versions are only going to be released with CorOS updates and those are at best 3 months apart and the next two updates don’t have the Tone King that means at least 9 months away and could very well be longer?
Incredibly frustrating - why we have to wait so long. NeuralDSP is clearly slanted to the metal world.
Why develop something this good and not have it available on the QC …… absolutely ridiculous!
After writing customer support asking please give us some idea on when our purchased products will be delivered beyond these vague when we get around to it responses got this.
"Currently, the information we have is;
CorOS 3.1.0 will support Soldano X and Nameless X.
The next major firmware update after 3.1.0, will include Parallax X, and Archetype: Nolly X.
Archetype: Cory Wong X (released) and Archetype: Petrucci X are the next plugins to be upgraded, and then they will come to the QC on a subsequent CorOS update.
So “eventually” ie it’s on the back burner at least 9 months if not a year away maybe.
So basically you got the same information from Neural that has already been presented to you here (which came from Neural). They have been tight-lipped about schedule. Coming and repeatedly talking about that schedule accomplishes nothing. Play some guitar.
Yes, same as after six more weeks of dead air, I forgot customer relations and satisfaction is not an important factor and subject not to be broached, thanks for reminding me.
Here’s the deal - I honestly believe NeuralDSP is on to something great BUT their managing of the brand and its customers definitely leaves place for improvement. Although I don’t feel like they are invested enough to care, I know the challenge of business and product development is real. Most can sympathize with that BUT effective communication has to include integrity … The when, where and how must be honoured….!!!
I unfortunately have a number of friends who have move onto ToneX and back to HELIX because of their experiences….
I would’ve bought ALL of their plugins had I felt they were going all out for me OR at least if they were hearing me and communicated that to me (us). So I simply will continue to hold back on purchasing anything until they decide that we, just like their products are valued…
Looking forward to that day ……I’m sure it’s coming soon !! At least I hope so
