@xush these settings should work for you. Can obviously add extra tweaks like leaving the minimum feedback higher so it fades out, maybe alter the high/low pass with the XP too.
Just think of it as switching between two settings, one for full feedback, and one for afterwards.
Thanks again, Tomfs. Guess I’m throwing in the towel here- I simply can’t get either of my momentary switches to function this way.
The impasse I’m reaching is that I can’t assign a switch to function as MOMENTARY via XP. The only momentary functions I can access are when using an onboard switch in Stomp or hybrid mode, with that specific block assigned to the footswitch. I believe this is the standard operation of the QC, as the first few posts indicate.
When assigning my momentary switches via XP, whether using TS or TRS, they will NOT function as ‘momentary’- I have to turn on the latch emulation and they then will function, but only each time you click them- not momentary (press/hold=on, release= off)
Thanks again for your input, but either I’m not explaining clearly what I’m trying to achieve, or my specific gear doesn’t function the same way yours does.
So when you press and hold your switch it just triggers a pulse of “on”, rather than staying on for the entire time you’re holding it?
If you want to do it still, find the cheapest SPST momentary footswitch you can, a small enclosure and a mono jack connector. Just solder each side of the jack to one side of the switch and you’re done.
