Cortex Control taking all resources (Mac)

Hello,
The Cortex Control application always takes, according to iStat, the 104% of the resources on my Macbook Pro Intel i9 8 core 2019 MacOS Monterey.
I love using the editor instead of tweaking the QC but the computer gets hot and fans run always at 100% (noisy).
I would know if this is reported by other users or if it’s only a problem of my setup and how can I get the application to properly run.
It’s just an editor, shouldn’t take so much processing power (I also have Kemper Rig Manager which doesn’t give any problem).
Thank you
Daniele

This was provided over a year ago but hopefully still helpful:

Hi, thank you for your reply.
That’s already all disabled and, to be honest, that doesn’t seem related to the problem I explained since I wrote that the other apps that I use don’t give any problem.
I’m a longtime Mac user, I can run big Cubase projects with many plugins and virtual instruments without problems and at the same time with the Kemper editor (when I’m recording guitars) but the Cortex Control takes an impressive amount of resources, an excessive load on the processor.
I don’t see the relation to my power settings which are the same for all applications (I’m plugged and all disabled to get maximum power).
Maybe NDSP might consider checking if it’s a bug related to Monterey and Intel Macbook pro?
Thank you

I haven’t heard of this issue specific issue before so I would then recommend to email support@neuraldsp.com so that they can log your issue and hopefully provide quick resolution. I’ll leave this open in hopes that other MAC users may chime in if possible.

Thank you very much for your support.

At Neural DSP they sent me a newer version of Cortex-Control (a beta I guess) and it completely addressed the problem, they told me that another user had the same behaviour on a Mac and this worked for him too so in case of excessively power hungry editor pls contact the support.
