CorOS 3.2.0 - Nolly Rhythm amp: can't use any pitch shifter or transpose effect?

CorOS Version: 3.2.0
Trying out the Nolly X plugin amps on my QC since the new OS update came out. I’ve noticed that when using the Rhythm amp, the QC will not allow me to implement a pitch shifter or transpose effect. I do not have this issue with the other 3 Nolly X amps, just the Rhythm amp.

The issue is persistent when produced in reverse steps as well. If i start with a pitch shift or transpose effect, I cannot assign the Nolly Rhythm amp to my signal chain.

Is this issue consistent on with anyone else? Is there a logical reason for them to not work together? I can’t seem to think of any.

I’ll see if I can duplicate the issue later today. In the meantime, did you turn on the CPU meter to see how much DSP those blocks are consuming? Maybe they’re both really high and won’t fit on the same row. Have you tried putting them on separate rows to share the CPU-load? Some of the new PCOM blocks are VERY DSP-hungry

I just made a simple preset with Nolly Rythm, Cab and EQ and added a transpose and pitch shifter without an issue.

Indeed the Nolly Rhythm uses a lot more CPU than the other amps, so it might just be a CPU issue as xush suggested.

Holy moly that rhythm amp eats CPU! Pitch effects are also very CPU hungry, so that’s probably the reason.

Yeah very hungry little amp. But it’s totally worth it for the tone
If your preset isn’t too full, you can probably move some stuff to rows 3 and 4 to make room.

Interesting. Maybe this has to do with the technical problems NDSP had porting the plugin.
