Core Tone with Aliases

Hey guys, I’ve created my “Core” tone. I’m wondering if there’s a way to use some sort of an “alias” to that core preset so that I can use it as the foundation for other presets?

The intended outcome/benefit would be that if the core tone was modified, the other presets that used its alias would also be updated, thereby saving lots of rework, duplicating settings between various, similar presets, etc.

Is this currently possible? If so, were would I find that part in the manual?

You’re basically describing a preset template. This isn’t supported currently. You should create a feature request, because I had the same thought recently. I use the templates feature in Reaper a lot.
