Figured out a cool workaround for messing with the nano via desktop.
It only works if you use Mac & Iphone.
Basically instead of finding a way to keep your phone standing still while editing the patches at home… Open the native ‘‘Iphone Mirroring’’ app and voila you can control you nano via your Mac ![]()
I also created shortcuts in the shortcut app, so that it opens the Cortex Cloud app and connects the Bluetooth in one click. Once you are connected, just mirror the screen and boom. Works Flawlessly.
Downside is of course, your physical phone is now ‘‘locked’’, but you can still access everything via your Mac and the best part is doesn’t feel like some 3rd party controller. Looks/feels as it should.
For me this has been a game changer, since I’m constantly editing patches together with my Morningstar controller editor. Way less back and forth between screens to find something as simple as a PC number.
Hope this helps some of you ![]()
Still waiting on an update that will allow me to use TRS midi without bugs… but USB midi has been working with no issues in the meantime, so I’ll survive.
