Nano cortex desktop app - unofficial

I posted this on Reddit but to summarise I’ve built a web app for building presets on the nano.

If you’re interested in testing it for me (I’ve been using it successfully but don’t have another nano to try with) let me know. Intention is to release it in GitHub pages when it’s working satisfactorily for others - free of course.

Hi Chriso, I have a Nano and I would be happy to test it out. Can you send me link?

Send me a private message with your email or GitHub username and I’ll add you to the repository, instructions are there

If you need one more person to give it a try and test it, I’d be all in!

Very cool!

I tried it and it works great so far

Please send the link at jf.retho@outlook.com

Very interested.

Hi Chriso,

I sent you a pm

Thank you

Hi Chriso I’d love to check it out as well.
Can we suggest features like BPM and millisecond option for delays and modulation?

For those I haven’t gotten back to, my apologies. It’s looking likely that I’ll be able to release this publicly soon as I’ve made some good progress on fixing the bugs and issues that we’ve found over the last couple of weeks. As mentioned on the reddit thread I’m not really looking to improve or change the UI, but once it’s out in the public I’m sure others will fork it and make their own versions with improvements.

I’m mostly commenting to keep pace with this thread, but looks really promising! Good luck with dev

I don’t hold out much hope for official updates anymore. Keep up the great work with yours — you’ve got my full support! :+1:

Hey all, again apologies for not getting back to everybody, I was quite inundated with messages.

I’ve now released this publicly.

For those that just want to run it online there’s a GitHub Pages version:

For those that want to download and/or contribute please go here:

Please report any issues as you find them, I’ve tested pretty extensively but there still may be some things that pop up.

Thanks!

Absolutely stunning work. This puts the Nano on another level of usability.
Thank you very much for your work!

I have made a little version with some FX pictures, to avoid looking at lists, to see which effect is represented by the naming. Nothing big, but maybe somebody will find this helpful, too

And it’s all done on the great work from Choldy. So all praise to him!

Might be great to open a pull request so that the original gets the update (should the author agree) so that it gets better over time rather than 100+ variations
