Change bank button to cycle banks of Presets

Truthfully, if this gets implemented, I don’t think I’ll have any more requests haha. “you guys pretty much nailed it” would be my only response

This would be so epic.

Ability to also switch the setting of thr bank button between captures and presets would be all in.

Maybe via long press of the bank button or something.

I think the ability to change the bank on the nano cortex will be possible to control that before you can change the bank, you have to press 2 buttons together to enter the bank Up and down mode, the led display bar. The bank channel uses the led above the foot switch of both buttons, 4 banks on each side, totaling 8 banks. When choosing a bank to use, press the switch on the bank side to be used, for example, select bank 4, press 1 switch 1 more. If you can do this, I think the command will not be repeated with tuner and tap tempo. Please consider this request.:smiling_face_with_three_hearts::heart:

Translated from Japanese. I’m currently building a compact pedalboard using Pedaltrain’s Nano Plus. Adding a MIDI switcher to the board and reassigning presets to footswitches via my smartphone for each song during a live performance are unrealistic, so I’m using an external Chinese-made MIDI controller (M VAVE Chocolate Plus) and its bank function. However, this controller has issues, such as not meeting Japanese technical standards. If the preset bank function were officially incorporated into the Nano Cortex itself, it would make for a smarter pedalboard, so I hope it’s implemented soon. Even among other companies, there are almost no compact multi-effects pedals without a bank function. The Ampero series and Hx Stomp also have bank switching capabilities.

Yea agreed, I am really hoping to not need to buy an external midi controller. This change will save people money this way

OK wait. I have two Nano Cortex units on the way. I have four guitars and need to be able to load 4 banks of 4 (one bank of 4 presets for each guitar) at any time, for whatever guitar I’m using. So you mean I can’t do that? So you are saying we’re stuck with only four presets assigned to the two switches, as in four total and that’s it?

This is EXACTLY how my Kemper Player works. Now I’m having second thoughts about the Nano Cortex. WOW this is really bad.

Yes. It was a very dumb decision whoever laid this out and opposite to how it should work. You have to connect your phone to move presets to the 4 active footswitch locations but the capture bank button will keep the same preset but scroll amp captures. If I was auditioning captures I wouldn’t mind using my phone. However, when I want a bunch of presets loaded up to have this thing as a standalone device, having to use the phone all the time severely limits its usefulness

Yea we are really hoping they implement this feature. Would save me some cash on buying a midi device

I think they´ll add this feature. It´s very demanded by users and it seems that NDSP is quite responsive with the NC. Let´s hope for that!

Hi everyone, especially our favorite Neural staff!

I would love to get some kind of feedback on our ideas here in this thread, since I am convinced we are touching upon a great potential for the Nano. The last run of updates took the Nano to a good level, let’s just make some more tweaks to make it great!

I think we all appreciate this forum and the opportunity to share our input. However, with great respect for your time and effort, I believe some more feedback would be a motivating factor for us to stay involved.
