Capturing an OD pedal in front of an amp?

Has anyone tried capturing an OD pedal in front of an amp? Can this even be done? I’m trying to figure out a work around for not being able to use two captures simultaneously (I’d like to use an amp capture and an OD pedal capture at once). Curious if any has tried this.

Yes. This is a very common and popular solution. Works great!

Actually, it would be very nice to have the option to capture OD pedal alone and put it in the pre efx slot. I wonder if you can do this on QC?
