Buzzing when i touch the screen

CorOS Version: 3.1.0

Hi everyone, I’ve noticed that when I touch the screen of my Quad Cortex, a buzzing sound appears, as you can hear in the attached video. I can tell you that it happens when I have the guitar slung over my shoulder and don’t touch the strings. If I touch the strings or if the guitar is in its stand, even touching the screen doesn’t cause any buzzing. The gain in this preset is for a leader sound, so it’s quite high. Is this normal or should I contact support?

Thanks a lot for your answers and your help.

I don’t know if the display touching behavior is normal specifically and can’t try it right now.

But you should consider moving the QC (and your guitar) as far away from your computer and monitor as possible. These things send out a lot of EM noise that gets picked up and is probably making up most of the noise in the video.
With high gain presets you will always have to fight noise to some extent, but you can try to minimize it.
