Should have it tomorrow. Anyone got first timer tips?
Welcome to the club! Make sure you are updated with the QC firmware and the Cortex Control remote editor plus ASIO drivers if integrating with a PC. Definitely download the current manual and explore the factory presets to build your knowledge of how presets and scenes are built. Join NDSP’s cloud to search user and artist made presets/captures. Read the manual for advice on how you plan to use your QC and watch the NDSP deep dive videos on YouTube. Enjoy the ride!
Congrats on your purchase ! It’s my personal best gear purchase in 10 years. Hope it’ll be yours too.
Watch some tutorial videos, and use Scenes ! It’s probably the most important tool to master in the QC.
Also, take time to experiment with what’s built in before downloading tons of captures, it can get overwhelming fast.
Use the high/low cut on cab and IR blocks, separate EQ block or global EQ (low cut 80-100 hz and high cut around 7khz) especially if you aren’t playing through an actual guitar cabinet.
Recieved QC yesterday been playing and reading. I have only made thru 2 factory presets made a few tweeks and save in user presets, all presets are set as scenes thanks for the advise (SOA).
1 thing I am struggling with the Plugin Lic thing isnt working.
Thats not big deal right now but going thru the steps of learning.
