Hi folks. Brand new user here. Wondering if I would get better amp captures mic’ing the amp or going from Amp out to Fryette PS2 Bal out to QC Capture. Thoughts? Thanks.
Purely subjective. Depends if you’re good at placing a microphone. It’s more flexible to get the amp itself and try to match it with an IR/cab sim. But it could be good to do it with the microphone on your cab if you like that tone and know how to dial it in
