I am having a problem with Tim Henson X where its not receiving midi correctly, but the old version is receiving it fine. The X version seems to only receive the first chord as shown in the video. Does anyone know why this is happening?
Were you able to find a solution for this? I cannot seem to figure it out at all. I’m having the issue in both reaper and FL.
I have not, I contacted the support email (support@neuraldsp.com) though and they said they would send it to the development team to look into.
This is the reply I received and a gif showing what I did to resolve the issue, seems to have fixed it
"The legacy version assigns voices sequentially from Voice 1 to 4. This also happens when playing more than 4 notes at the same time, assigning extra notes to voices 1, 2, 3, and 4 in that order.
We limited the voice assignments in the X version to 4 voices simultaneously. Any extra notes are not assigned until an existing note stops playing.
What I think it’s happening is that the notes from the first chord collide with the second chord. So, legacy assigns the second chord notes but the X does not. Can you please check if this is resolved by cropping the chord notes just before the next one? Thanks!"
Ok awesome. Thanks for passing that along, really appreciate it!
