Would be great to have a 12 strings emulator like Helix is proposing
what’s different about it from a pitch shifter for an octave and 50% mix?

This is the only thing that keeps me attached to Helix, despite having Helix and Quad Cortex. Line6 12 string emulator is really good.
What does the Line 6 emulator do beyond adding an octave above? Since no standard processor can create a “true” 12-string emulation (with unisons on the B and high E strings) without a hex pickup, I don’t know what an emulation could do beyond adding a slightly delayed octave. Have you tried this with your QC?
