Too much bass and low mids

I don’t want to add any fuel to this fire. I am just sorry to see that you are being frustrated by not being able to get the sound you need to do the music you love. I must admit that I too have been distracted by the decibel levels of what you are talking about rather than the technical problems associated with playing really loud. I am sure you did not mean it to be a distraction from your ongoing issues with not getting the tone you want. Peace and GOOD tone is something everyone should enjoy! So I hope you find a solution and in the meantime I do wish you great peace in the midst of these issues. --Brian

Have you tried capturing the sounds you like on the Kemper? That would get you close enough to the tone that worked for you that it should work the same. You say you need to bring the gain up on the desk and this is when the tone changes. Are you sure there’s nothing wrong with the desk and that gain staging is ok everywhere in the signal chain?

Yes, that’s the first thing I did… I have a redsound lg12 active monitor for Kemper for a gig where there is no need for a silent stage. Usually the volume is at 12 o’clock and that’s an ok volume for the stage even with a loud drummer. If I have a good sound gay and if I am satisfied with the FOH tone, the signal from Kemper goes directly to the desk. If something is not right, I put the mic on the monitor and I have my tone in FOH.
Through that monitor, the QC tone taken from the Kemper is perfect, There is even a better feeling under the fingers, some magic is happening that I missed with Kemper.
I’ve always used that monitor for listening and making tones. Everything I did for Kemper through that monitor works anywhere and almost through every desk and FOH… even when something is needed, it’s small corrections if the FOH is not balanced properly, at least from the perspective of the guitar .
That tone taken from Kemper through the desk is ok at low volume. That setting on the desk is the setting I use for Kemper. But the Kemper signal is much stronger and that level is not enough for QC So, for QC I have to amplify the signal from the desk. When I increase the gain on the desk, the problems start.Yes, you are right when you say that the tone taken from Kemper has the least problems on stage and is the easiest for me to fix.
Through that monitor, when I try to make a tone on the QC at that level that I use for the Kemper, I have to use the global EQ, and some more EQ blocks, because at that monitor level, my QC adds bass and low mids frequencies that I can’t get rid of. For example, I really like the jcm800 in a real world and on the model of that amplifier I have to reduce the bass all the way, plus global cut, plus custom IR plus one or two EQ blocks and I have something… and then I come on stage and again I have to make EQ and sound gay need to adjust EQ.With factory cabs, the situation is almost unsolvable
The situation is a little better with captures plus custom IR’s, but I still can’t accept the fact that so many EQ settings are needed…That’s why, listening to all the positive impressions and comments, I think that I’m not doing something right when it comes to settings QC or simply my QC has some problem.
While writing this answer, the idea of taking captures on stage came to mind
before the gig at that high volume…The captures taken from the Kemper were at a monitor volume of 12 o’clock… that’s why everything works as it should at that volume. If I take captures at a higher volume, I might solve the problem.
I am still convinced that everything that was profiled and that can be used for Kemper and that is considered a good profile was done at high volume and that all those amplifiers were turned up to max

In any case, thanks a lot for the suggestions, advice and on the flow of ideas

another thing,
when i had headrush frfr if i left the box on ground it was unusable…
With stand it was perfect. Do you have tried with stand?
Pour parler, i think that a 12" for a modelling guitar can be too much… i prefer 10 inch (but this is my taste).
It can be that with kemper you don’t had the same content as qc, and now with 12 inch and probably the chassis on ground (i’m supposing) you have this content in face.
Only supposing… ciao (sorry for my english)
