On almost all of the patches I’ve downloaded, including captures, I get a high frequency overtone or feedback. it’s most notable when playing a G chord, but it comes through all the time. It doesn’t over power, just like a start of feedback constantly. I get it with both my guitars, although it’s more pronounced on my HSS strat than the PRS McCarty. Has anyone experienced this? I’m sure it’s something I’m doing, my bandmate sounds amazing using the QC
If it’s on everything I’m thinking maybe a global EQ is on and doing something weird. Might check that.
How are you hearing the QC? Studio monitors? Headphones? Power amp and real cab?
I’d check all the settingswhen you swipe down on screen to see the inputs and outputs.
Hmmm
swipe down for the I/O menu, and try lowering the impedance setting. About the ONLY thing that control does is bleed off treble response, so it’d be interesting to see if that, or backing down the overall input level, could even out your response.
How are you monitoring? Headphones or speakers?
Currently monitoring through a Mackie 12, one of our mains. It seems to be most notable playing an open g chord. I got some video if it helps.
