I find the way captures are “saved” “liked” and stored in the nano… way too complex and confusing. It feels like you are never on the right page. Then by the time you realize it, you have to go scrolling again through the other menu to find stuff.
It would be way easier if even on the cloud area it showed which ones are saved on your current device
And then it would be easier to delete the ones you aren’t liking and swapping others in… without too much back and forth
“Download Neural Captures” does not equal the captures you have on your device.
Captures end up on the “Downloaded” list if you:
Preview a capture (press the play-button on the capture instead of doing a download). In the background the capture is downloaded to some temporary storage but then deleted when you are done.
And, if you actually have downloaded a capture and used it but then you do a factory reset of the unit the capture is also on the downloaded list but not on your device.
I do see some of this is visible… but I still find the way to manage the captures is not as user friendly as it could be…
like even something simple as sorting in the menu would be nice… this is available in the download area but not when you press the swap button in a preset
They all show in a random order… it would be nice to sort by recently downloaded or by “gain” type or amp type
IMO all menus that have capture selection should have the same abilities. I find myself not exploring other captures cause I don’t want to forget the ones I like already and there’s no simple way to mark them or organize them
