I just set up a cabinet with two custom IR’s and really wished there was a feature to save that cabinet for easy reuse in other presets.
This feature may also be useful for saving different configurations or stock cabs with custom names (whether or not they are blended with an IR).
You can do this. Just save the parameters as default settings then those it’s will always be associated with that cab.
I would never want to overwrite the cab defaults with settings for IR’s from an entirely different cab. Losing the stock cab and settings aside, it’s just flat out confusing that you can’t rename the cab to match what the IR’s would then represent in place of the stock cab you saved over.
