New user here. Just got done setting up and testing a rig for live performance and I have a few thoughts to share that I think are needed updates for the Nano. Its a fantastic unit, but there are some really crucial things missing that would make it a powerhouse for live gigging on any style of music.
First. Please add Spring Reverb as an option. Many of the most well known, loved, and gigged amps have this effect built in. To not have it as a choice for presets seems like a mistake.
Second. Please allow for logarithmic tapers when using expression pedals to control effects. Specifically, the wahs. Having that effect accessible through midi is killer, but leaving it to only be a purely linear sweep sounds, and more importantly feels very cheap and unfinished from a design perspective. Not fun when playing live.
To follow that, please allow for control over more effect parameters. I’ve seen this in other requests as well. I know this is not a modeling pedal, but to have effects be midi controlled and limit that control to level only really ties up the user in ways that don’t translate well to live playing when granular effect control is crucial.
Last, a Global Output control via midi. Being able to assign an expression pedal to control master volume of the entire sound of the unit would greatly benefit the end user.
