Hello, what would be the best way to output from the Quad Cortex to a Yamaha THR30II Amp?
The one thing I am sure about, is setting the Yamaha’s amp type to “Flat” and amp mode to “Classic”.
But then I could either use the Guitar Input or AUX In, not sure which one is better (Aux In approach would need a 3.5mm TRS to Dual 6.35mm 1/4 TS Mono Y Splitter).
Finally, on the Quad Cortex itself, would I Global Bypass all Cab Blocks? Much thanks.
Hi, I use a THR10ii with the QC for practise sometimes.
I bought a cable for about £10 that is 2x 1/4 inch jacks from the QC to a 3.5mm stereo jack for the THR aux input. The sound is surprisingly good and this way there is no need to change QC patches.

Nice! Do you global bypass your cab blocks as well?
Hi, there is no need to change anything on the QC in patches or global if you use the THR aux input as it is essentially an FRFR amp and stereo speaker that makes whatever you plug into it louder but without colouring the sound.
