Quad cortex not working

I saw this in another thread and cannot make sense of what’s going on:

I took a lot out and I still get the warning too many but I have a bigger issue. I wanted to use a distortion pedal in the front of the qc and I used a cable that appears to be an XLR plugged into input of the qc plugged the other end into output of pedal amp is my least favorite but sounds the best. Idk want to use my good amps anyway. No computer, no audio interface, just return input of amp to L3 guitar into input 1 and real guitar cab. Put the pedal cable in and the amp exploded. It’s dead and I’m not getting this one fixed. It’s too expensive right now. So I need to check to see if the qc works. Are pedal cables ok to use like that? Into pedal and then input 1? Can you give a bulleted break-down description of how you had everything hooked up? Which amplifier model, by the way? It sounds like you might have sent the power output from your amp into the QC, frying both…
